Loopring DDoS Attack Post-Mortem
On November 4 (GMT+8) at 21:00 hrs Loopring was targeted with an aggressive DDoS attack. During the incident, the rate per second (RPS) was significantly increased. The Loopring gateway was unable to handle such an overwhelming volume of requests resulting in the unavailability of the services.
Loopring Now Supports NFTs on L2

Loopring's old version (protocol 3.1) is deprecated. It’s now time for the Ethereum community to verify and witness that all remaining user assets on the old Loopring L2 are secure as expected, even when we as operators are no longer processing any user requests.
Loopring Monthly Update — 2020/12
Happy, healthy new year! It was a very busy end of 2020 and beginning of 2021 for us. The delay hints at a most propitious sign for Loopring and zkRollups in general, as scaling becomes top of mind for everyone as Ethereum block space continues to be in incredibly high demand.

This month we released Loopring Wallet’s smart contract v1.1 and started the app’s UX/UI redesign. We hope to invite users to an early beta in September. Loopring 3.6 is close to code-complete (a quite special new feature was added) and the external security audits will start in two weeks.

Loopring protocol has its much anticipated v3.6 upgrade coming in Q4 2020. This version is robust and feature-full enough that we envision it can actually allow Layer 2 to make a dent in the current Ethereum congestion, and support many millions of users for the next several years.
